Each PSLE Standard subject receives an Achievement Level from AL1 to AL8. The four subject ALs are added to produce a PSLE Score from 4 to 32. A lower score is better.

How to use a previous year’s COP
What is a secondary school COP?
MOE describes a COP as the PSLE score of the last student posted to a school through the relevant S1 Posting process. A school can have different score ranges for Posting Groups 1, 2 and 3, and the ranges can change each year.
Posting Groups explained
- PSLE Score 4–20: Posting Group 3
- PSLE Score 21–22: Posting Group 2 or 3
- PSLE Score 23–24: Posting Group 2
- PSLE Score 25: Posting Group 1 or 2
- PSLE Score 26–30, with AL7 or better in English and Mathematics: Posting Group 1
Plan six choices thoughtfully
Use COP as one reference point alongside school culture, programmes, subject offerings, CCAs, travel time and your child’s interests. MOE recommends including 2–3 schools with previous-year COPs less stringent than the child’s PSLE score.

Are these official 2026 secondary school COPs?
No. Official 2026 COP data is not available here. The school cards use the latest available official 2025 Secondary 1 score ranges for reference only.
Does meeting a previous COP guarantee admission?
No. COPs reflect the last student posted in a previous exercise. Tie-breakers, cohort results and school choice patterns affect each year’s outcome.
Why can a school show more than one COP?
Schools may have published score ranges for different Posting Groups. The card shows each available group so parents can read the data in context.
