The 2021 Primary Mathematics syllabus was introduced progressively, one year level at a time. This means that between 2021 and 2025, some year groups followed the 2021 syllabus while others remained on the 2013 syllabus. As of 2026, all Primary 1 to Primary 6 students are on the 2021 syllabus.

Does the syllabus specify which textbooks to use?

No. MOE sets the syllabus content and outcomes, but individual schools choose their own textbooks and resources.
